On behalf of the FCCLA chapter, we want to express our deepest gratitude to the Battle Creek community for your overwhelming support of our recent food drive. Because of your generosity, we collected 1,800 items for the Lions Club Food Pantry.
Thanks to your contributions, we also met the Thrivent Match Challenge, securing an additional $500 to help further support those in need in our community. Your kindness and willingness to give have made a real difference in the lives of local families, and we are deeply moved by your support.
This success would not have been possible without the compassion and spirit of our community. Together, we’ve shown what can be accomplished when we come together to help others. Thank you for being a part of this meaningful effort.

FCCLA would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredibly supportive community. Thanks to your generosity, our Pink Out Event surpassed all expectations, raising an impressive $2,500 to benefit the HOPE Fund at Faith Regional. All proceeds from this event will directly assist individuals currently battling cancer who are in need of financial support. We are truly grateful for the outpouring of support from our community this year, and we couldn't have achieved this without each of you! #BCPride

FCCLA is hosting Kids Day Camp on Saturday November 23! Our hope is that this will give a chance for parents to prepare for the holiday season, go shopping, or even simply breath for a moment before the craziness of the upcoming few weeks. We hope you'll consider registering your child for a day of fun! Registration closes on Monday.
We had a great visit with DeMoine Adams, CEO of @MentorTeamMates this morning. Find out more about joining our team at TeamMates.org. #MakeADifference
Thank you Nebraska FCCLA VP of Development, Ashley Caballero-Lazaro, for coming to speak to the FCS classes about leadership!
Today for World Kindness Day the 5th graders teamed up with the kindergarteners. They did some fun activities that included reading with a partner, friendship bracelets, and a coloring activity. Fun was had by all!
Advanced Woods students are getting closer to having their center post table ready for final sanding, assembly, and stain. This is the first year for this project at BCHS.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to Rick Meysenburg and Nebraska Harvestore for their invaluable partnership with our classroom. We are grateful for their sponsorship and collaboration in helping make the chute and scale an integral part of our learning environment.
FCCLA would like to say that we are incredibly grateful for the support and generosity of the Battle Creek community in helping us fill the shelves of our local food pantry before the holiday season! The overwhelming response to tonight’s door-to-door food drive has left us deeply moved, and we can’t thank you enough for your contributions.
If you missed tonight’s collection but would still like to donate, there’s still time! Donations can be dropped off at the high school until Friday. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
When plans were set to install welding booths in the new ag facility, John Klein from Northeast Machine and Manufacturing generously offered to donate both the booths and welding tables. These resources are vital for providing students with hands-on industry experience before they enter the workforce. We extend our sincere thanks to Northeast Machine for their generous support of our school.
Rocket with his bow tie: ❤️❤️❤️! The staff page in the yearbook might be the most viewed.
