A HUGE shoutout to these 3 today, as they just posted the 3 fastest times in Battle Creek history! Jaxon Kilmurry was the only freshmen in the top 15 at districts today and is the first freshmen to ever break the 18:00 mark in the 5k for Battle Creek. Hunter Oestreich just ran his 3rd sub 18:00 5k this season, and Kolton Wiehn cut almost an entire minute off of his previous PR to join these two! Congratulations Brave runners!
Bravettes drop set one 25-22 to Wayne
For the first time in school history, the Battle Creek Braves XC team has qualified for the state championship. They finished as team champions of the C-3 District meet with 59 points, becoming the first ever Battle Creek team to win a district meet. 🏆
Congratulations to the Brave and Bravette cross country runners as they battled at the C-3 district meet today in Pierce. Afftynn Stusse qualified for state with a 12th place finish for the Bravettes, while Jaxon Kilmurry, Hunter Oestreich, and Kolton Wiehn qualified individually for the Braves with 6th, 8th, and 15th place finishes.
