Battle Creek Elementary students and staff have worked really hard to learn, understand, and 'live' our three pillar words of Safe, Respectful, and Responsible to start the school year. On Friday, August 29th, we recognized some individuals and an entire class for their efforts in meeting and exceeding those expectations to start the year. Our Overall Student of the Month for the month of August was Karsyn C. and our Class of the Month was Mrs. Bagley's 5th Grade Class!

This summer was full of hard work and dedication for our Battle Creek FFA students! Earlier in the season, McKailey Holecek, Ashlynn Wolken, and Baylor Taake proudly exhibited their cattle at the Antelope County Fair, and this past weekend they wrapped up their summer show season at the Nebraska State Fair. We are so proud of the hours of effort and care these students have poured into their projects – from early mornings to late nights all summer long, they’ve shown what commitment and responsibility truly look like. Congrats on a great first showing for our Chapter!

Today our 8th grade FCS students put different handwashing methods to the test as a fun and hands-on way to discover what really works best. It was the perfect preparation as we dive into our food safety unit!
